Personality: Ward is a laid back, peaceful person, who enjoys reading and the really small things in life. He always has a soft smile on his face when around other's and he is very polite with others, only the occasional slip of the tongue when fighting. He enjoys reading and will listen to anyone who has a problem but he doesn't give any good advice.He has a fatherly side to him with those younger than him, which he isn't afraid to show.
When on duty he's serious and will always follow the order's of his commanding officer or those higher up in the chain of command. He is loyal and cares for those whom he serves with.

Likes:

• Reading- He enjoys reading any type of book and the quietness that appears when you get absorbed into one.
  Cooking- He enjoys trying his hand at cooking and mixing random things together even if they turn out wrong and burns out the bottom of a pot.
  Exploring- He enjoys looking for new places to see and meeting new people.
  Chatty people- He enjoys listening to people and sometimes lets other yell at him just to get something off there chest.
  Fishing- He enjoys fishing as a hobby with a book at his side
  Light Guilds- Enjoys there enthusiasm and the job they do which can't be done by rune knight's at times.
  Apple Cider- Enjoys drinking it and the aroma it gives off.
  Music and Dancing- He enjoys listening to any type of music and will dance with somebody when he feel's like it.
  Sweets- He has a sweet tooth and will carry some on him at all times.

Dislikes:

• Spiders- He had an incident when he was younger where he was bullied and thrown into a bush where spiders were known to occupy.
  Death- He has seen death and had to watch the life fade from his mother's eye's as a young child before rune knights arrived to his village which was pillaged from bandit's.
  Dark Guild's- He doesn't have any passion for them as they are the one's who bring disorder to the land and death at times.
  People who disrespect his cooking skills- He gets angry whenever someone makes fun of his cooking.
  Bandit's- He hates bandits with a passion as they are nothing more than barbarians that should be put down with no mercy after what happened to him when he was younger.
  Bitter food- He doesn't like bitter food even if some of his own food turns bitter.

Motivations: He lives by a motto 'Remember the fallen, Fight for the fallen; but don't spit upon there graves'. The phrase he was told meant to remember the ones who have died, fight for those precious around him, as all life is sacred and never, ever fight for vengeance for those who were injured or have passed on. He also works hard to get promoted and train the next generation of rune knights to uphold the flame of justice and peace for all of Fiore and for the sake of protecting the innocent and weak.

Fears: Ward fears losing those who are close to him because he had already lost his family, so in any event he refuses to lose any more. He also has a fear of making promises he knows he'll never be able to keep, even if it meant having the person hate him. He has arachnophobia, from when he was younger, being pushed into a bush filled with spiders. He remembers feeling the legs crawling over his skin lightly and the feeling of the webbing sticking to him. He fears the day when he has to make a choice between country and comrades/friends, as he can't choose between the two.

General Appearance: He has long straw coloured hair and usually pulled back into a ponytail. He wears a purple turtle-neck sweater with a white t-shirt underneath with a beige housecoat over top. He has a pair of glasses on that he wears at all times except for when he's about to fight, going to sleep or rest his head down on a table. He wears a black pair of dress pants with white socks and brown shoes but inside any building, he tends to wear slippers.
When he is on-duty, he'll wear the uniform that he is given from his commander but will always have the green shawl on even if he is reprimanded for it.
