This thread will tell you how to let your character rank becomes higher.
An EXP bar will show in your character info, and the Jewels are also shown there.
S Rank Job - There is no higher rank.
A Rank Job - You need to get 500 EXP to rank up.
B Rank Job - You need to get 200 EXP to rank up.
C Rank Job - You need to get 50 EXP to rank up.
D Rank Job - You need to get 20 EXP to rank up.
The EXP you will get from the jobs is shown in this link.
